How Can We Help You

NU-HOPE Elder Care Services, Inc. (NU-HOPE) is a non-profit organization
funded primarily through grants, community fundraisers and local donations.
Our goal is to enable older persons to live with dignity and independence and in
the least restrict environment possible. We understand the importance of the
word home and the value of neighborhoods, friends and family. Through our
services, thousands of seniors received the assistance that they needed to safely
remain in their own homes.

We are proud of this accomplishment.

We take our role as Lead Agency and provider of state and federal funded
services for Highland and Hardee Counties very seriously. We know that what
we do impacts more than the just seniors. Our services also support the work
of caregivers, family members, neighbors and government agencies; our efforts
strengthen our entire community.

We also understand that one person and one agency, alone, cannot accomplish
all that needs to be done. NU-HOPE proudly partners with community and
government agencies, businesses, faith-based organizations and individuals to
improve the quality of life for older persons and their caregivers.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and pay tribute to a true
champion of our agency, our community, and of elders everywhere. Mr. Sandy
Foster, who served as Executive Director for NU-HOPE Elder Care Services
and who, for 19 years worked tirelessly to build a comprehensive, responsive
and meaningful network of aging services, passed away on September 24,
2010. He will be truly missed. However, his sense of leadership, integrity and
devotion remain with us today and inspire all within the community to continue
with this important cause. It is in his memory that we dedicate this site.

Since 1975, it has been our privilege to serve the needs of our community’s
elders. We look forward to continuing doing so in the years ahead.
